LG TV Plus is a simple software tool that allows you to remotely interact with TVs that support LG webOS Smart TV. And it’s not about switching channels or increasing the volume (although there will be no problems with the listed operations either), but about broadcasting photos and videos on TV, playing back entertainment, and using secondary functions, such as showing the current weather and dates from the calendar.

LG TV Plus provides a comprehensive emulation of a standard physical remote control. The same buttons, similar switches and sliders, the same layout of additional components responsible for setting. The only curious innovation is access to the standard text keyboard, which makes it easier to type in the browser or in third-party services like YouTube (the Russian layout is fully supported, but there are still problems with voice input).

In addition to switching channels, the developers offer to broadcast content stored on the internal or external memory of mobile equipment to TV screens. Photos and images, videos and clips, presentations and documents – just select the appropriate section and the demonstration will start automatically!

Separately, LG TV Plus provides support for some third-party entertainment services. Alternatively, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Twitch. You can display a bunch of interesting things directly from your smartphone or tablet on your TV using special templates!

And yet – on some versions of LG webOS Smart TV, plug-ins and extensions are supported. In some situations, it is possible to display the weather on the screen, access the calendar or social networks, so there will be a chance to even chat by typing text from the virtual keyboard, and watching messages from TV while lying on the couch. Such a scenario of actions is not uncommon for a long time, and therefore it is time to start experiments!
