Twilight Forest is a large-scale and highly experimental modification that functionally and visually expands the standard version of the 3D sandbox of Minecraft.

The developers added a new dimension – Duskwood – introduced a new collection of characters, added a portion of achievements, and also took care of additional content, such as mazes and biomes with bosses. The usual scenery and elements of the narrative will remain in the past: the moment has come to lift the veil of unexplored secrets!

Features of Twilight Forest

• Updates. Downloading Twilight Forest is worth it for many reasons: completely changed scenery, represented by a zone with endless trees and a non-working system of changing the time of day (it is always easy to see both the sun and the moon on the horizon), a huge collection of dangerous opponents (spiders, skeletons, ghosts, yeti, hydras , ghasts, goblins with custom effects, new animations and extra lives) and ruins. The entire list of innovations cannot be enumerated, which makes each new immersion in a fictional universe a real challenge.
• Progress. Elements of role-based development in Minecraft: Twilight Forest is not provided, and yet the developers no longer offer full freedom of action, as in the original, but are forced to follow a special storyline, by the handle leading from start to finish. Despite such an approach, there is no time to get bored anyway.
• Bosses in Twilight Forest. The list of top tier opponents added for battles and exploits is huge. At the start, you will have to face a lich defending the castle. A little later, a hydra will meet in the Twilight Forest in the form of a three-headed dragon (and additional heads will appear as in a fairy tale), a mushroom centaur, a naga and a higher ghast of extraordinary sizes. In addition to curious bosses, the developers have taken care of the environment: new locations with secrets, traps and obstacles have been added for each individual character.
• Lich Castle in Twilight Forest. A notable structure, resembling a cross between a tower and a stone fort, towering above the ground. The entrance inside is not adapted, and therefore you will have to break the blocks and break through as a real barbarian. How to proceed further depends on the situation. In addition to spawners and bosses, you should be afraid of grimoire, skeletons and zombies. But, if you deal with all the opponents, then the castle can be easily turned into a full-fledged shelter in the future …
• Minotaur Labyrinth in Twilight Forest. Less expressive, but still an unusually dangerous competitive zone full of treasures. Of the problems – a dangerous boss, many tiny enemies and, of course, non-destructible walls that make you wander around, hoping to soon find a light at the end of the tunnel.
• Tools. The list of additional items in Twilight Forest is not very impressive, but all the finds will definitely come in handy. Among the important elements that allow you to interact with the world around, it is worth highlighting the maps (magical helps to fully digitize the terrain around, and the maze scheme is just turns in the current trap in Twilight Forest). There are also staves that drop from the lich in the Twilight Forest, an ore magnet that pulls up to 100 blocks at a time, and a horn that allows you to clear a specific area, destroying a whole collection of blocks under your feet.

There is no need for an additional guide for Twilight Forest – the developers took care of the newcomers, and therefore at the start they offer to look into the section with important changes and tips. But, as in classic Minecraft, no one bothers to explore the sandbox manually, figuring out the secrets and features from their own experience.

And it’s impossible to get bored with Twilight Forest. If only because of the mystical atmosphere depicting the virtual world in the form of a fairy-tale corner, furnished with trees. Around – darkness and eternal twilight, endless hills and caves, and also – a kind of dome of crowns, protecting the earth from the sun’s rays. You can look at the local beauty for hours. And when there is a chance to look into the labyrinths or trees in the Twilight Forest, then with the receipt of new treasures, you will want to call friends and delve into research.

But nevertheless, you should not rush ahead of time – the enemies are insidious, hunger sets in unusually quickly, and due to the lack of light, battles will turn from short and familiar battles into survival with an unpredictable ending. Life in Twilight Forest will turn into a wandering firefly trying to get free.
